Our lives are filled with chance and choice deci­sion-mak­ing on a moment-to-moment basis. In this piece, paint­ed sug­ges­tions of maps and mazes become the sur­face for used tea bags, their paper labels replaced by tiny map sec­tions. These metaphors for chance (for­tunes read from tea leaves?) and choice (delib­er­ate plot­ting with print­ed guide­lines?) aug­ment what dri­ves this deci­sion making.…our expectations.…boldly announced in red neon.
