Sunya

Inspired by clas­si­cal Bud­dhis­m’s con­cept of sunya, or empti­ness, this beau­ti­ful­ly tac­tile work lined with over 800 emp­tied tea bags, opens itself to be filled with what­ev­er the moment brings to it. Here the pos­i­tive pres­ence of the void, or neg­a­tive space, becomes tan­gi­bly defined in a way that express­es both a state of being and non-being.
